What is the ENeRGI Housing Support Service?

The ENeRGI Housing Support service to provide people with mental health issues practical support to live in their own accommodation and keep and manage a home or tenancy. It covers a wide range of activities to help individuals take responsibility for their own home with support provided in a way that promotes choice, dignity and independence.

Each service-user will receive an agreed package of care that is based round their individual needs and situation. A weekly amount of hours is agreed and this includes some time for administration.

The ENeRGI Housing Support Service started in February 2003 and is funded through 'Supporting People'. Fife Council has a programme to assist people with mental health problems living at home. ENeRGI is one of a range of Housing Support providers.
